I love this time of year -- after Christmas obligations and before work ramps up. The slower pace is actually a very productive and intraspective time.
In fact, I just completed reading the current issue of PR Tactics cover-to-cover. A rare accomplishment for a working mom in graduate school among other endeavors. I am even halfway through a book by local Rice Professor Douglas Brinkley.

Other Accomplishments:
- Clean out closets, discovering long-forgotten outfits
- Upload and post the 293 images on my digital camera
- Read a classic novel to my son
